Many doors leading into the temples of Kathmandu are ornately carved and heavily crafted. Note the well structured pillars supporting the doors are carved in simple traditional style. The base is decorated with flowers. The top most part of the door illustrates a beautiful, continuous pattern of lotus petals. The door panes are covered with flower patches sculpted on it.
