The smooth round curves of the wriggled bodies of seven snakes that bound the peacock are beautifully crafted with the segments of each snake distinctly engraved. The entire lengths of the bodies of the snakes are lined with continuous, smooth patterns. The heads of the snakes attached together form a canopy over the peacock. The peacock itself is at the center of the frame and stands with its quills raised. The peacock is painted in black color. Product of old Patan, Kathmandu Valley, 2000.
