  THE CURRICULUM 
 
Session 1:
 
Being creative. The children take the camera and learn how to shoot still life in a completely different manner. They understand the eye of the photographer: top, bottom, close, far, and all sorts of angles!
 
Session 2:
 
Landscape photography. Is it sunny, rainy, cloudy? Children go outdoors or stay indoors and learn how to take images of people, objects, and situation highlighting the environment.
 
Session 3:
 
Animal photography. Children shoot Brownie and Whitey and tigers and hippos, birds and reptiles in a truly amazing and unique manner and come up with a collection unique and original.
 
Session 4:
 
Bazaar photography. Visit to Asan and see for ourselves all the colors and people and items on sale and the excitement of the shoppers and take home photographs for the collection.
 
Session 5:
 
Culture time. Time to enjoy the alleys and shrines and statues and atmosphere of Nepal. Photograph Bhaktapur, Thimi, Bungamati, or Panauti and art and culture practiced over centuries.
 
Session 6:
 
Photo downloading and editing time. Sit in front of the computer and organize the photos, turn them upside down, see how colors are changed to sephia or black and white.
 
Session 7:
 
Slideshow and movie making time. Use a common software to turn the photo collection into a slideshow for parents, friends, and the classroom. Add music and simple animation.
 
Session 8:
 
Framing time. Visit a photo printing studio and a frame shop to learn all about how the photographs are developed and how they are framed so that the actual photos are not damaged by the glass.
 
Session 9:
 
Flower photography. Children photograph beautiful flowers in red and blue and purple. They shoot flowerpots and green leaves, caterpillars, the kitchen garden and gardening tools.
 
Session 10:
 
Preparing for exhibition. Children's photos are selected for large format printing and framing. Guides and children sit together during selection to get the best possible print for the family room.
 
Session 11:
 
Exhibition. Children say why they liked the photos exhibited to an audience of adults and other children. Parents, children share the images and talk and take a fantastic photo in a three layer frame home.
 
Session 12:
 
Party and awards time. Children have fun, fun, and fun and shoot each other and take home a DVD of the finest photographs that they have taken to show proudly to their parents, friends, and teachers!
