  People's Review, 22 July 1999

Lain Singh Bangdel inaugurated Param Meyangbo's art exhibition “Creations 1999” at Spiny Babbler on July 18, 1999. In his talk, Bangdel said, "I find the artwork very spontaneous. I am much impressed by our young artist, she is talented indeed. She finds herself in these magical paintings that she has made."

Krishna Manandhar, campus chief of fine Arts Campus, chaired the event. He said, "The artwork here the colors that I see, reach deep inside me. The paintings remind me of the works of the great masters. They are very original and confident, I am amazed." He observed that the colors Van Gogh used in his paintings touched his heart and felt the same when he saw Meyangbo's paintings.

Greta Rana, president, PEN Nepal, commented that, "The ability to create is inborn in some people. And these people, with their acts of creation, save mankind from becoming an absolute force of nature.

Pallav Ranjan, founder of Spiny Babbler, also spoke on the occasion and introduced the artist.

The exhibition comprised of 42 paintings in various mediums: oil, acrylic, and collage. The paintings are not for sale as they have been purchased by the Shaligram Apartment-Hotel. This is Meyangbo's second exhibition so far. Her first exhibition "Enamel Works" was held in 1998. “Creations 1999” will be on display at Spiny Babbler premises in Kupondol Heights until July 25, 1999.
