Babbler (SB) is to organize a fortnight of Art and Poetry Show at
Thamel from April 9.
With
the theme of "Presenting the soul of Nepal", the exhibition
will present traditional and modern art as well as poetry in the
English language for a diverse audience. Realizing the importance
presenting Nepalese art and literature heritage to the guests who
come from many countries of the world to our Kingdom, most recently,
Spiny Babbler organized a second showing of Param Meyangbo's "Enamel
Works" at North Beach Café, stated a press release issued by
SB today.
Many
viewers were surprised to see the black and white abstract expressionist
work and wanted to learn more about the different types of work
now appearing in Kathmandu, it stated. During
the program, six literature editions, more than 30 paintings and
photographs, as well as "Swasthani" scripture in English
will be available for visitors to enjoy. |
