WORKSHOPS AT SPINY BABBLER |
|
Leading
Art Personalities and Movements workshop was
conducted by Tineke Moerman. After working at the World
Art Museum, Tineke volunteered at Spiny Babbler creating
an art syllabus.

Persuasive Writing workshop for teachers
of English was attended by small, government, and well-known
schools. The workshop was led by Dave Foley, an editor
and educator from the US. Tell

Sharing Ideas and Concepts in Art Education
was led by Cyndy Foley, a professional artist and arts
educator with 30 years of experience in the United States.

a professional artist and publisher shared images of work
in ceramics, printmaking, and installation and worked
with art students.

AMERICAN DELEGATION OF HEADMASTERS AND TEAM AT SPINY BABBLER
An
American delegation of teachers, principals, and educators
attended a cultural exchange program at Spiny Babbler. They
learned about national arts, culture, music, and theatre.

VISITING SHELTER HOUSES FOR PEOPLE AT RISK
Ms. Genevieve Bloomfield, wife of the British Ambassador
to Nepal and Mr. Pierre Boudreau, a magistrate specializing
in children's issues in France, paid a visit to Spiny Babbler
activity area at PIN Nepal (People in Need). Tell

4.
TREE PLANTATION PROGRAM ORGANIZED AT BADEGAUN, THAIBA VDC
On
June 19, 2004 Spiny Babbler volunteers, local club members,
youth, community people, and rangers assembled at Badegaun
at 7 am to finish planting 60 decorative, 400 fruit, and 1100
fodder and forest trees under Spiny Babbler’s “My
Tree” program.
