Namaste.
I am pleased to welcome you to the Taudaha wetland community's
website. Twelve organizations in our area, many many people,
and Spiny Babbler and GEF-SGP have contributed to make
this site possible. I thank everyone for their contribution
in bringing we, the people or the Taudaha community, together.
This website is backed up by actual events and efforts
that bind us together and this website also introduces,
explains, interlinks, and bring Taudaha to the world and
to the people in our community. Produced in the local
Nepali language as well as English, the site explains
our history, our culture and biodiversity, maps our resources,
organizations, enterprises, and people, while it feature
what is happening in our community today and how important
the wetlands have been to us. I believe that this site
is of importance to people who live in the wetlands, to
people who are interested in the wetlands as well as to
those who would like to know in-depth how we, the people
of Taudaha, see this world and our place in it. Thank
you for visiting Taudaha, the website. I hope that you
