Importance
of freshwater
-
Bidhya Thing, Class 7, Shree Santoshee E. B. School
Importance
of freshwater
It is said that freshwater has immense importance
balancing the earth as is needed
increases the lives of people by cleansing ailments
blesses us with long life and happiness
Freshwater
supports life
there is a relation between thirst and water
fishes resides here
flowers like lotus blossom
But
this time the situation has changed
in a sensible manner utilize the water
waste is mixed in the water
though we say we will clean it, we lack the
knowledge to do it
Let
us move forward to conserve our wetlands
not only for own sake, but for everyone
the water cycle must be continued
by own effort damage done must be righted

Waiting
for someone -Nabin
Budhathoki, Class 9, Shubhakamana Academy
Waiting
for someone
Taudaha,
Mero Taudaha, My Taudaha
since years waiting for someone
in every morning with the rising sun
untill the evening sunset, waiting
always it(s) give the impression of
looking for someone
yet untill now the person has not come
with capable hands and developed mind
Mero
Taudaha, My Taudaha
still strong desire
seems to be waiting
for the person to come
not being a threat a danger
like jalkumbhi and singata to the lake, a monster
but the gentle blossom of a lotus
The
person will stand against unsound belief
for sure he will come
he will come not to
give a fake lecture but
with assurance, a perfect plan
in the hope of light, Mero Taudaha is waiting
waiting for someone

Greatness
of Taudaha
Oh
what a beautiful place
surrounded by big mountains and hills
there lies a large water
where inhabit birds different wondrous
Residence
of Lord Karkotak Naag Raja, and his fair Naag
Rani, his queen
life is blessed just by viewing this water
we are sanctified by their blessing
always living in harmony, receiving generous
blessings
In
the south lies the Goddess Dakshinkali, to north
there is Lord Ganesha
in the middle lies this elegant garden
carrying the sacred the wonderful
a high significance to the living
Description
of the legend of Manjushree of it being a piece
of stone,
great stories mixed with every aspect of it
being
not only enshrining traditional values but stormy
history also
a place for geologists and tourists and we who
live there
Encircled
by Champadevi, Sarvakali and Siddhikali mountains
history being filled by epic tales
small but imperative place
Taudaha is the name of this
I
will create a heaven here, in this palce
spread the splendor of pearls, in this place
keeping the greatness of this village
I will always sing the greatness of Taudaha

Taudaha
lake -Krishna
Prasai, Class 8, Shubhakamana Academy
Taudaha
lake
In
the middle of the hills, lies my small village
My small village here lies the famous Taudaha
lake.
A calm and beautiful lake that I can protect.
Beautiful
birds in the middle of the lake
my village beautiful they make
to see the lake tourists come from various places
they are joyful to see my lake
Values it carries
thousands come for naagpanchami festival
to see this artistic setting
Fishes
enjoy playing in the lake
birds dance and chirp
people looking for peace come there
let all of us go near there today

The
lake cries -Puskar
Budhathoki
The
lake cries
Nowadays
it looks uncomfortable
each and every moment the lake seems to be crying
even when people swim in the lake
the lake seems to be crying each and every day
May
be due to lack of awareness
people wash clothes near the lake
instead conserving its beauty
people are throwing garbage here and there
cheerful lake seems to be crying each and every
day
Naag
Raja and Naag Rani, the sparking eyes
tear falls from them, tear falls
the tears of King and Queen of serpents
the lake seems to be crying each and every day

I
am Taudaha -Pabitra
Thapa, Parijat Mahila Samuha, Thapa Gaun
I
am Taudaha
Though
years, decades and centuries have passed;
though the human has developed, societies have
risen
I, Taudaha remain tranquil
wait for the changes to take place
How
long will I be covered by weeds and seeds
how long eavesdropping on old tales
years and years I've lingered, waited
someone please come
honestly I am of some value,
I am like the sweet-smelling sandalwood
work with me in ways that are wonderful
